About the authors


Richard Huggett is a Reader in Geography at the University of Manchester. His publications include: Fundamentals of Biogeography, Second Edition (Routledge 2004), Fundamentals of Geomorphology (Routledge 2003), Topography and the Environment (Prentice Hall 2002), Environmental Change: The Evolving Ecosphere (Routledge 1997).

Sarah Lindley is a Lecturer in Geographical Information Systems at the University of Manchester.

Helen Gavin works as an environmental consultant for Atkins.

Kate Richardson is a Lecturer in Geography at the University of Manchester.
